BREAD & CIRCUSES: EDWARD ARCHBOLD; LANDON ISON; ODESSA CLAY


Edward Archbold, 32, of West Palm Beach, Florida, wanted to win a valuable snake so he entered a contest in Florida where he would each cockroaches and worms in the hope of taking home a python worth nearly $1,000. Archbold did well and made it to the end of contest and after he left the gathering he took a few steps, vomited, collapsed and died. Upon arriving at Entry Court despite arguments from the prosecution that this case should be turned over for examination as a potential suicide, Magis Mina Jenrette declined and released Archbold as a free citizen of Hell.

Landon Ison, 32, a former police officer in Lamar, Missouri has been sentenced to thirty-six years in the Field of Crosses, followed by Eternity in the Suicide Gardens after a shooting spree that left his estranged wife, Dana Ison, dead and his mother in law severely wounded. Ison had quit his job as a police officer only days before the violence. Two minor children in the home were not physically harmed.

There’s a bit of buzz this morning about a woman who got her 11 year old daughter a tattoo. Odessa Clay of Grantsboro, North Carolina says she got her 11 year old daughter a tattoo because the child wanted one. Police have arrested Clay on charges of aiding the tattooing of a minor. The tattoo is a small heart outline on the child’s shoulder as it was described by Clay who is listed as an “independent beauty consultant” for Mary Kay Cosmetics. Reports state that Clay gave the child the tattoo using her own tools and pain numbing meds.
