PROOF THAT YOU CAN’T FIX STUPID: A CONSERVATIVE’S EPIC FAIL
I don’t need assignments to fill the column inches I have here at The Dis Brimstone Daily Pitchfork; I simply need to read conservative blogs and have a nice warm cup of herbal tea close by. As many of you may know, Blogs4Victory has been a whipping post for the smart kids in the room for quite some time now. They have reinvented themselves from Blogs4Bush into what they called during the failed McCain campaign Blogs$Victory. That new name actually held some street cred after the shocking defeat of the House Democrats in the 2010 midterms but what was felt by those on the Right would be an electoral wave which would sweep them into power both in the Senate and the White House in 2012 fizzled into a defeat that may have finally opened their eyes to the changing demographics in the United States.
Cluster, a poster at Blogs4Victory said the following in comments just yesterday [emphasis mine–S.B.]:
Don’t ever forget that Obamacare was sold to the American public based on OUTRIGHT, BLATANT LIES by the POTUS.
I do want to thank Watson, Casper and Sarah for so brilliantly confirming the title of the thread. There is a permanent level of stupidity that has permeated our society to a point of what I believe is no return. And we can thank people like Casper for that condition, in that he has been instrumental in churning out the next generation of mindless citizens.
Watson, I do have a question for you. If Henry Hyde’s indiscretions preclude him from defending DOMA. Wouldn’t someone’s lack of homosexual experience preclude them from supporting gay marriage?
Let that rattle around in your empty head for a little bit.
In a word to that question posed to Watson, yes. Henry Hyde was a public figure who stood on his own moral principles to bash Liberals for a wide range of reasons. it was discovered in the midst of the Clinton/Lewinsky scandal that Hyde had destroyed a family in the 1960s by keeping a married woman in a doubly adulterous relationship. A public figure can surely stand behind those same sex couples in supporting marriage equality without being gay themselves. However, the very definition of hypocrisy is what Hyde did by being a public servant choosing to have a five year affair with a married woman while married himself and pointing the finger at another public official for their own foibles.
Qu’ul cuda praedex nihil!
