The newspaper offices here at The Dis Brimstone Daily Pitchfork are nearly ablaze with activity as three executive sources close to the production of Rush Limbaugh’s radio show carried by Premiere Radio Networks have stated that at the end of his contract which runs through 2016, “Limbaugh will retire shortly after the next presidential election, no matter who wins. His strike date to retire is 24 February 2017.” Limbaugh has been the loudest voice for conservative political ideologues for more than 25 years and his departure, which sources say will be announced at the beginning of 2016, will create a gaping hole in the conservative dominated talk radio sphere. The radio host will be 66 years old when he retires and has stated privately, according to the same sources that he wants to retire “to enjoy what he’s earned.”

Premiere Radio Networks could not be contacted for a response to this report. We will continue to try to get an official on the record verification of this story as the day progresses.
