ON THE MURDER OF TWO NYPD OFFICERS THIS WEEKEND

cavalor_morning_suit

Despite the murder of Eric Garner by members of the New York Police Department, I still feel that New York City has the finest police force of any major city in the United States and quite possibly the world. Murdering policemen does absolutely nothing for the cause of civil justice. It turns the media of which I am a part against your cause. There is no doubt that there is an element of ignorance, violence, hatred and frustration woven within the thread of those who are protesting whether it be in Cleveland, Ferguson, Milwaukee or New York. If those bad actors are seen as the majority voice even though they have minority numbers the cause of racial reconciliation in America will be set back for decades. America going forward toward the 22nd Century must put the issues of race from the past behind it; the only way to do this is to have a healthy and vigorous dialogue, without punishments for opinions no matter how strong, to create a structure where Americans no matter their color can liver, love, work and prosper on an equal playing field.

  1. While I respect your right to your opinion, I, as Editor-in-Chief will not be called a liar. You by doing this have forfeited your right as I see it comment here.

  2. William J Logan aka Neocon1 as Editorial Page Editor of this newspaper I have been directed to no longer post your comments here for the following reasons:

    1) You have used this blog to make some of the most racist and homophobic comments we have ever seen. While you have every right to express yourself in this manner, the management of this newspaper suggest that you start your own blog where you can be as bigoted and ignorant as you want 24/7/365. As of 14h 40m HST you have worn out your welcome and have become a distraction to our journalistic efforts.

If you would like to appeal this decision you can appear in person at our offices in the 6th arrondissment of Dis, Hell on any Tuesday between the hours of 0800 and 1100. Since this newspaper supports free speech you may wish to make your comments at the following conservative/white supremacist echo chambers who share your ideology:

    wnd.com
    topconservativenews.com
    stormfront.org
    americanthinker.com
    theblaze.com

    Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

  3. NC1 is banned? Woohoo! I could not stand reading its garbage.

  4. Fredrick Schwartz, D.S.V.J., O.Q.H. [Journ.] Says:

Most important no such action directed at the NYPD is beneficial to the cause of social justice. I stand with the cops on this one. On the banning of Bill Logan: Yeah from what I read this afternoon that’s enough. Onward and upward comrades 2015 is right around the corner.

  5. And, in the meantime, a Fox News affiliate is editing footage to make it appear that protesters were shouting “Kill a cop.”

Why do conservatives feel like they have to lie? It’s almost as if they know that the truth would destroy them.

    • Fredrick Schwartz, D.S.V.J., O.Q.H. [Journ.] Says:

I saw a bit of this from a different rally on Ashleigh Banfield’s show on CNN yesterday and I really don’t know what to make of it. I’m having some of my people analyze the tape to see where it comes from and if it’s been tampered with. What the Fox affiliate in Baltimore did is quite clear from the TPM report. And to your question Ser Daryl they have to lie because they realize the majority of people in America want to have nothing to do with their myopic vision of America.

  6. “Despite the murder of Eric Garner …….”

Here lies the root of this matter. Unless you sat on the Grand Jury or decision making body of this case you can not call it anything.

Those that did have a hand in making the decision found the Police not at fault in Mr. Garner’s death. The “Police” would include the Black, Female, Sergeant, who was supervising the Officers at the time of Mr. Garner’s arrest.

Please do not let any relevant “facts” get in the way of a good screed.

I am sure Cavalor will speak for himself on this matter but I see this as a murder as well because the choke hold was not necessary. The man was saying he couldn’t breathe. I am sure you would not feel the same way if the person the police took down were anything other than a black man. How law enforcement views people of color has to be addressed if America is going to continue to call itself a free nation.

  7. Yawn. Hi Amazona! Did not know you took over the Fork too! Congrats!!!

  8. I had to go back and make sure. Most of the comments at the veggie site have been scrubbed by amy. One remained however that did confirm my thought.

An avowed “atheist” now posting comments in “Hell”

Now that is some weapons grade LoLzeronium.
    🙂

    • We don’t want an echo chamber here like at B4V but Neocon1 was doing nothing more than slinging shit on the walls and calling it art. Once we verified he was taking his information from white nationalist sites it was time for him to go. Freedom of speech yes but we don’t have to be a forum for bigots. This is our blog and we have to manage it and keep our focus on issues rather than individuals.
