I’m having some trouble this morning working on a title for this post so I decided just to start writing and let the title come to me. I must admit without the slightest bit of guilt that watching this first two months of the Trump Administration’s performance of political amateur hour has given me nothing but hours and hours of pleasure. More times than I care to count I’ve said in the past that the American government is not suited to be run as a business yet Trump, a businessman, won by catering to the bigotries, feeding the fear and stoking the anger of a part of the American electorate least deserving of being heard– white middle class idiots who do not live in cities and that will believe anything that fits into their narrow worldview.

I woke up about an hour or so ago and was reading an article written by Pamela Geller at Breitbart.com which tried to make points for why Trump is failing. The article is trash for the most part but from time to time in the piece Geller crawls out of the bubble and breathes an atmosphere at least similar to that of someone whose sole purpose isn’t to be a Jewish version of a member of the SS hell bent on destroying all Muslims. Geller writes, “So what happened? Trump has to take control. Take a page from Obama and clean house. With regard to Obamacare, Trump should take decisive action to salvage the situation now. He should call every GOP congressman into his office and just hammer out a deal.

Here’s the thing: he talks about being a great negotiator, and that may be true. But throughout his career until now, he has been negotiating not with politicians, but with businessmen. We know their motive: profit. Money.

It’s not the same with politicians. Politics is a twisted world, in which power and reelection are the currency in which they trade. The bottom line in business is money, and while money talks for politicians also, the bottom line with these corrupt clowns is not always so easy to discern.

She’s right for once; Trump isn’t a politicians and he is so out of his depth that he doesn’t even realize it. Is there still time for Trump to salvage his one term in office? Sure. Will he change his tactics and become a nimble politician who can work with Democrats and establishment Republicans to get things that need to be done done for all Americans? No.

In Hindsight

Donald Trump never had the personality or the toughness to be President of the United States. Trump is failing at a game he never thought he could win and isn’t fit to play-politics, and he is too stubborn and addicted to his own bluster to realize it. Donald Trump is bad for America and cancerous to anyone who ever called themselves a conservative. The Trump Administration literally has a month and a half to right the ship and string together three victories, just simple things that show you’ve got a strong hand on the tiller, or it will be too late for him to even stay in office until the 2018 midterms. Being thin skinned was the cardinal sin of one Richard Milhous Nixon and all of you reading this know how that turned out in 1974. I ask you MAGA freaks out there who will read this to go through the comments of Geller’s article and imagine just for a second that this were 2009 and Barack Obama’s administration less than a month short of 100 days into their first term were struggling with connections to say the Saudi government who may have aided the 44th President in getting elected through illegal means? Sure Progressives would have fiercely rallied to their President’s side as we did when the entire birth certificate thing became a thing. But think about how sick we would be in the depths of our souls knowing that their could have been a grain of truth in a scandal that might mean the President had foreign help to steal the election? What sort of person can pivot away from “The President is a Muslim!” to “Make America Great Again, even if that means committing treason to win?

  2. Flynn’s offered to testify before the Senate Intel Cmte in exchange for immunity. Which means Flynn’s lawyers suspect, or know, that Flynn broke the law(s). Remember tRump didn’t fire Flynn for 2+ weeks AFTER Yates told the white house that Flynn was compromised by the Russians.

o3 this is the start of what will in in about a year with Trump resigning. The only question now is how much damage does this blowhard want to inflict on the nation he took an oath to serve. My bet is he’ll watch the whole thing burn down before he admits to criminal activity. And conservatives thought they were having fun while Obama was in office? They ain’t seen nothing yet.

The Fall of Donald Trump (and Why It Ain’t Happening)
    By J. Robert Smith
The buzzards are out. These are a subspecies, Bueto Nevertrump vulpinus. The carcass of healthcare reform has them circling. No, actually, they believe it’s the carcass of Donald Trump’s presidency. Repeal and replace dies, so the automatics kick in. “Trump’s failed. He was never up to the job. His presidency hangs by a thread!” And the variation: “It’s good Trump failed, ‘cause Paul Ryan’s bill was a vehicle for socialized medicine. Trump’s an unscrupulous lib. He’s a pretender, and now there’s more proof!”

Not proof, mind you, of House GOP incompetence. Not proof of a weak speaker and flabby leadership team. Cut ‘em slack. House Republicans only had seven years to figure out healthcare reform and get their act together. The failure belongs to Trump, and shows that his presidency is beginning to unravel… 40-odd days into his administration. The next three years and 325 days are just epilogue.

Reports of Trump’s political death aren’t just exaggerated. They’re absurd. It’s sky-high wishful thinking.

This is Huge: Obama White House Approved Spying Against Trump

Well, here it is. The smoking gun we have all been waiting for.

Many news outlets – and I mean many – are now confirming that the spy program against Donald Trump went all the way to the Obama White House. Obama’s National Security Advisor Susan Rice – who infamously went on the Sunday shows to blame the Benghazi attack on a YouTube video – is the official responsible for “unmasking” Trump and his aides.

Here is what “unmasking” means. The Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitution protects Americans from warrantless searches or seizures. A warrant is required to spy on American citizens. If an American is caught up in an investigation and the government does not have a warrant to surveil that person, then their identity must be kept confidential. Without this protection, the Fourth Amendment would mean nothing.

The Obama administration tried to get a warrant to place surveillance on the Trump administration. They were turned down. Yet, transcripts of conversations were still collected and used for political purposes. Either the Obama administration spied on Trump without a warrant or they “incidentally” collected information on the Trump team and then illegally unmasked it.

Ultimately, the effect is the same.

The question has always been who ordered the warrantless surveillance or unmasking. We now know that was Susan Rice herself, Obama’s own National Security Advisor.

We have to ask ourselves a simple question: Is it possible for a cabinet-level White House employee to spy on the President-elect without the sitting-President knowing about it?

      • neocon01 Says:

        Nooo the desperate bitch LOST
and LOST massively and now you fools cant handle the truth. The so called russian uproar is a BS tempest in a teapot to hide the real and MASSIVE crimes of bathhouse barry and HIS sos and the klintoon crime family…….accuse the accuser of the crimes you commit alinsky 101

    • Robin Naismith Green Says:

“To summarize,” Hayden wrote in his email, “on its face, not even close to a smoking gun.”

It’s hardly out of the ordinary for a White House official like Rice, with high security clearances, to request unmasking. In Tuesday’s Washington Post, Glenn Kessler quotes Michael Doran, a former NSC aide under President George W. Bush, as saying, “I did it a couple of times.”

Another former NSC official, who asked not to be named, told me, “There is a well-established, well-used process for requesting that such information be revealed. You have to have a reason beyond simple curiosity that is tied to some legitimate national-security or law-enforcement purpose.” The intelligence agencies, the ex-official added by email, “take this requirement VERY seriously.” Though this ex-official knows nothing about the situation with Rice, he said that, since she was doing transition work with Trump’s team at the time, it would have been “highly relevant to know whether these people were talking with the Russian government as well.”

  8. neocon01 Says:

former NSC official, who asked not to be named,”

in other words 100% total bull shit….but now a former unnamed source told me it is all just a lie.

  9. neocon01 Says:

kind of like when ole gay barry as a lame duck whispered to the russians that after the elections he would be more flexible hmmmmm maybe we should check if there was collusion with the russians to steal the election from mitt.
