Yes indeed more conservative fertilizer from Blogs4Victory a place where dissent isn’t tolerated but religion based conspiracy theories are!

This is the response from Jeremiah who for quite a long time has been thumping his Bible and praying hard that A BRUTAL THEOCRACY WOULD RISE UP FROM THE ASHES OF SOME MAJESTIC CIVIL WAR FILLED WITH MIRACLES HAPPENS. Of course all the screaming and shouting aside this isn’t going to happen because America is fully a corporate oligarchy today and it will be a progressive corporate representative democracy in 20 years or so despite Jeremiah’s prediction of an Imam being elected President in a generation. And anyway what would be wrong with that? I thought the Constitution said whomever got the most electoral votes wins the election and that there was no religious test to hold office. Maybe Jeremiah has a different allegiance more similar to radical theocracy than he’s willing to admit. It doesn’t matter what religion you are a fanatic of religious fanatics are dangerous to any form of representative government with a free population.

prozac

I agree, Spook.
I call bull butter on Ms. Bloch’s predictions.
Saying there will be “no chance” of another Conservative presidency after 2014. Nah.

Polls are now agreeing that a majority of Americans do not trust the government, and for good reason considering the latest developments concerning the IRS, the NSA, and Benghazi.

As far as her statements regarding religion, she is just repeating the liberal mantra cooked up by the likes of Bill Maher, and her other handlers.

I do believe that at the rate we are going that America will be a majority Islamic nation in 20 years considering how fast it is infiltrating our colleges and universities. Some predict that in 20 years there will be enough Muslims in America to elect an Imam for President. But even that is questionable if America has a major turning point in a more positive direction.

All of this prediction poopy by the likes of the far-left libs who visit here get kind of old. They like to make those predictions here to make themselves feel good about their side, and their hopes for an America to the liking of Germany when it was controlled by the Nazis and Hitler in the 1930s, yet thinking they will not be the target of such a type of government. While true that Christians, Jews, and other ethnicity groups would be targeted by such a regime in Washington, those advocating for such a takeover do not realize the repercussions for such a regime change. Most of those advocating for such a type of government in America reside in other countries, and are immune from such a catastrophic regime…though they are lucky, because they have escaped the sword of the Muslims in their own country.

While it wouldn’t surprise me to see the American flag replaced by such as say, a Chinese flag, or Muslim flag…I still have faith that America won’t allow it to happen. If it were to transpire that America comes under such tyranny, I can only say that it is because Americans failed to follow God’s Word. And if such a time were to come, we can only hope that we are following Jesus Christ, because without Him we won’t stand. I mean, how can we expect to stand without Him?

Here’s my comment that got Jeremiah’s undies in a bunch:

Cluster you are half right. America will not become a true oligarchy but by 2028 it will be a a nation controlled by one political party. That party will be the Democratic Party. The problem for the GOP is that they never took any opportunities to reach out to those they would need to be elected that many years down the road. Government works for the voters I have been told many times and the Democrats are the party of handouts and hope for those who have had little voice in America for the bulk of its existence.

The 2014 midterms will be your last hurrah if you are a conservative. Hopefully enough far right conservatives will win in gerrymandered districts that were safe anyway to give the Right an even deeper and more false sense of electoral security. That will lead to more gaffes on women’s rights, gay rights and immigration that will further alienate those fast growing groups plus the American voter between 18 and 25 from your beliefs.

You likely will have the hinterlands well into the middle of the century but as we all know nobody really lives in the hinterlands. The goal should be to win back New York and California but you all know that is impossible. Pennsylvania is now blue as is Michigan. Florida is growing bluer by the day even north of Orlando. Texas, by 2020 will be a blue state as Latino kids who are now eleven years old will be of voting age then. What could your side possibly offer them if their parents are undocumented that would make them vote for your side? Nothing. At best the GOP by then will be a regional party having lost both the House and many governorships nationally. In seven years this will be all over and even you Cluster will have tired of talking about a political battle that cannot be won without a major catastrophe taking place. It’s this simple when Hillary Rodham Clinton announces her candidacy the GOP gets taken off life support and those who support that party can start to plan both the party and how to divide up the estate.

A CONSERVATIVE CANNOT UNDERSTAND THAT SOCIETY MOVING FORWARD PROGRESSIVELY DOESN’T MEAN HE LIVES IN A COUNTRY THAT IS NOT FREE

Read Mark Noonan’s poorly thought out missive here.

Below find my response which they will delete because they cannot deal with the Truth.

Mark by reading your words I see that you are terribly confused like many in a time of great social change. You happen to be on the side that wishes things were the way they were as opposed to the way they are becoming. That is always a difficult place to be.

The scanning of emails and collecting metadata was initiated shortly after 9/11 for the purpose of keeping the number of life threatening terror attacks at a minimum. You supported the USAPATRIOT Act for a good long time and now for reasons that are clear you do not. I still don’t believe it is the place of a government to spy on its own people in the name of fighting a tactic. I have always preferred the Israeli model for dealing with terrorists but of course that would conflict with you notion of American exceptionalism.

Property taxes have been around for centuries in America and used by localities for a variety of purposes that make life better for all.

Sitting on a corporate board and bringing up a religion based belief about homosexuality is not free speech nor is going uninvited to a college campus to do the same. One is career suicide, the other is trespass. You are exercising free speech right here and I don’t see the Center-Left Obama administration taking down this blog.

The IRS did not keep the TEA Party or patriot groups from assembling they did scrutinize, albeit harshly, their requests for tax exempt status. I am shocked that Neocon1 hasn’t called these people “moochers” since they sought to dodge their tax requirements to do work that was clearly political and yet they call social welfare. Truly curious.the knots one would have to twist to have that be rational.

Having organized religion in a place of preference in public schools is not about rights or freedom it is about indoctrination and passing on the beliefs of one generation to another. Most Americans have gotten beyond the need for their religion to be something special to people who don’t believe in it but clearly Mark you have not evolved on this issue as you have on so many others. What the pastor preached does not belong in the public square anymore than the what the mullah or the rabbi said; these things belong in our hearts to be applied in our lives to make us better people, not to be used as a truncheon to allow us to puff our chests out in the knowledge we have kept others we fear at a distance.

America is still the most free nation in the world; it just is no longer bound to the abominable marriage of religion and politics used for the purpose of shaming people into conformity with archaic rules.

SUNIL TRIPATHI AND THE EVER HUNGRY BEAST THAT IS THE BIGOTED CONSERVATIVE BLOGOSPHERE

Posted in BOSTON BOMBING MANHUNT, CAVALOR EPTHITH EDITORIALS, JOURNALISM, JUSTICE with tags , , , , on 26/04/2013 by Cavalor Epthith, Esquire, D.S.V.J

cavalor_hooves

My initial career goals, as a much younger demon, were to one day be the highest legal official here in Hell and to inspire the people here in the Afterlife to a more fair and equitable system of government under the Law. In those days when Shai’tan ruled here in Hell and sought to bring fear and suffering to the Human Beings of Terra there appeared to be no future for those on your planet save for war and brutal death over resources and the illusion of power. Over the three hundred and sixty seven Terran standard years that I have lived change has become a state that I relish.

Change for Hell came in the overthrow of Shai’tan thirteen Terran years ago sending the Prince of Lies to Oblivion after a war of more than six decades which saw billions of Afterlives lost. Change for Terra came in the marriage of technology with the Progressive marches toward civil rights in the 20th Century. Both have inspired and intrigued me in ways that make my tail flick with excitement and rouse me from my bed to engage the day at my current career as editor of this prestigious newspaper.

Many, on the conservative side of the great and Universal ideological divide, have mocked not only the digital version of The Dis Brimstone-Daily Pitchfork but the very tenets of Progressive politics. Some of those who vehemently disagree are men and women who fear the very thing that i love most–change. They see change as too chaotic and an existential threat to their privilege; I as a demon journalist looking at the actions of both the Living and the Dead see change as the natural order of things. I find this a true curiosity considering conservatives delight in order the way I delight in exotic raw meats.

Having said these things I move to the main topic of my post. The conservative blogosphere and the technological marvels that move news as the speed of thought in the modern era collided last week as the American public witnessed a singular topic front and center in their consumption of news–the Boston Marathon terror attack. I call this event by that name because it is the accepted nomenclature for many of the conservatives who pound out their opinions on the cultural events of the day in the hope not of gaining converts to their ideology buy maintaining a fervor among those who are and always will be with them. Here at The Dis Brimstone-Daily Pitchfork we refer to the same event as the Boston Marathon bombing. The former is description of a tragedy through a political lens. I would be the first to point out that even President Obama, for political reasons and to be politically correct, has characterized this event as an act of terror. This demon journalist feels that the President is in error for this but alas, these are the times you live in on Terra. The latter is the accurate description of a known event, a crime of using explosives to cause bodily harm and murder the Living. While I am certain that President Obama and the leaders of the American federal law enforcement infrastructure have pools more information than I do about the events of the crime I still can stand on the veracity of my view of the events than those of conservatives who for good or ill need to have something other than the sour wine of hatred fermented by failure to blame for the events of 15 April 2013.

The conservative blogosphere latched on to several individuals, linking them with the murderous apostasy that is the utilization of religion to breed hate and not love, to blame for the crime in Boston. First there were two men, one a track runner named Salah Bartoun, browner than the rest of the crowd, who were pointed to by the New York Post as seeming suspicious. This reminded me of the millions of flyers that adorned the sides of buildings here in Dis in the years before the collapse of Shai’tan’s government that portrayed our Empress, Ang’ki Hoor I as a fang toothed horror lurking under the beds of ever child demon waiting to strike in the dark with glowing blue eyes that would mesmerize her victims. This is not a rote paranoia. Terrorism fomented by people who have fully, body and Soul, embraced a corrupted version of Islam morphing it into an ultraconservative theocracy of murder, bigotry and misogyny is a clear and present threat to democracy on Terra. This was clearly proven far before the 11 September 2001 attacks to anyone who knows their Terran history.

The problems that you have now as citizens of Terra are manifold. An examination of the reasons behind the corruption of Islam like any examination of the more murderous actions by individuals with guns in America is deemed by the Right as a fool’s errand. Both are necessary for an understanding that can lead to the destruction of the apostasy within Islam and lead to the creation of an Islamic reformation which must come kin the next century lest Islam be lost to the radioactive ash heap of history. I make that assertion with the knowledge that doctrine, globally among nuclear states, demands that if apostate Islam grows to a point where they are no longer the hunted minority but the open and well financed majority their existential threat to capitalism and democracy will demand of those nuclear democracies a reaction to any atrocity that has its basis in dirty bombs or the use of weapons of mass destruction [and by this I mean chemical, biological or radiological] the response will not come to some remote region of southwest Asia it will come to Mecca and Medina, Cairo, Damascus, Grozny, Tehran, San’a and every other place where there is a possibility of this global threat to turn for comfort and support.

I hope the words I have written here are digestible by those both on the Right and the Left in American politics because I feel relatively certain that the majority in the Centre do grasp the context and the content, equally. I will finish this post with a point about journalism which is the main point here. Sunil Tripathi a young man who struggled with depression had nothing to do with the bombings in Boston, Massachusetts on 15 April 2013. Those simple words of fact come easy for me to write because I and my staff knew this young man had nothing to do with the crime, as did Sunil Tripathi’s family. We knew this because we report and opine on the news and that, vice driving an agenda bent on bigotry and division, is our job. Conservative bloggers are now quite uncomfortable now after a Reddit.com spread the virus of misidentification. Now the conservative blogs are littered with dead links of scrubbed pages that are themselves the very links of the shame that comes with being not only a bigoted reaction to breaking news but being horribly and dangerously wrong about a serious event in America.

Hell, delightfully, has resources legally that America does not to assure that every action and its consequences are accounted for over a lifetime. Within the Laal Hethri there are several officers whose only task is to account for the amount of suffering that befell the Tripathi family and the family of the others falsely accused. This may take time but that is a luxury we have here in the Afterlife. If you take the time to follow some of the paths their research takes them down at Butcher’s Garden you will see the pattern of disregard that I mentioned in the graf above. Seven days ago Jim Hoft at The Gateway Pundit was among one of the very first to seize upon the fever that was the accusation of Sunil Tripathi. Now Hoft’s site, scrubbed of the damning evidence.

Mr Pinko at IOwnTheWorld.com jumped on the bandwagon as well and that page has been edited to seem as if the conservative bigots there were trying to aid in finding Sunil. This is lauaghable when the comments below the post are out of step with the content of the edited post. And then there is this post that seems to purport that using the words “pending confirmation” makes their efforts any less libelous.

Then there is Pamela Geller at AtlasShrugs2000 where too her failure has been scrubbed.

For the record this reckless rush to judgment was not limited to the Right as Salon admits that its Twitter feed listed Sunil Tripathi as a suspect as well. Pat Dollard’s blog still has the Sunil Tripathi Mike Muguleta post. Michelle Malkin posted the false accusation which she got from Twitchy.com which left the false data along with the correct information.

THE BRUTAL BEAUTY OF HISTORY

Posted in FRED SCHWARTZ OPINIONS, IN HINDSIGHT, THE SATURDAY RANT with tags , , , on 20/04/2013 by Fredrick Schwartz, D.S.V.J., O.Q.H. [Journ.]

This wasn’t going to begin as a rant but it likely will end as one. I had prepared to write an article last night after reading Pamela Geller’s screed about “Jihad Coming to Boston!” but finding both my partners spooning in bed [much to my surprise Valeri had returned from Rham unexpectedly while I was reading] I chose to enjoy my hours before sleep rather than pound these keys in the miserable hope of confounding a woman whose bigotry and ignorance know no boundaries. This evening after a full day of research laced with bourbon and cigarettes Carlton Pryor my good friend and economic genius brought by a pastrami sandwich from my favorite deli on Via Lacrima and invited me to watch a film he’d been interested in for quite some time.

hydepark

The film was Hyde Park on Hudson and the film features the talents of Bill Murray, Laura Linney, Olivia Williams and Elizabeth Marvel. Before I go any more down the rabbit hole connecting this fine film and the story with the political dagger I’m going to wield to puncture the premise about jihad that Ms Geller makes, I need to have a brief aside to wax appreciative of the artistic talents of Ms Linney. Those of you who have read my columns over this near Terran decade know how I feel about Laura Linney so I need not go down that road again. I must ask, however, is there as intelligent and beautiful a woman who can portray on the silver screen such melancholy and fragility? If you haven’t seen the movie I won’t spoil kit for you and a good pastrami isn’t required either I just got lucky.

The importance of America’s relationship with Great Britain got me thinking about how closely we’re tied even in rising from the ashes of terror attacks. Britain has a much longer history of dealing with their “troubles” than the nation of my birth and death. The British don’t panic when something blows up because they know that the United Kingdom is bigger than the hatred of those that would like to see the Union Jack in tatters. Often, like in the United States today fear of the IRA bombers was used for political purposes; rarely was that ever effective.

pam-geller

Geller would like to make Americans think that there is some conspiracy afoot within American government that will have the United States Constitution shredded in favor of sharia. I don’t think that Ms Geller believes this I just think she knows if she says it loud enough, and often enough, that a few people who are suspect to being afraid and those who know they can profit from supporting her views without actually getting the stain of genocide on themselves, will come to her aid in the form of economic compensation. In a quick phrase Pamela Geller is a whore for Islamophobia. Before any of the conservative men who want to get a blow job from Pamela Geller or even the few thousand who want to fuck her in the ass [she might still be of childbearing age and of course you’re not going to use a condom, of course not!] get all riled up about how violent Muslims are take a chill. Yes, many Muslims have been very violent in their efforts to get all the shit they think would come from forming a theocracy all over Terra. Since I don’y yell in my posts let me say this slowly and clearly– they’re all nuts just as all religious fanatics are nuts. If they think anyone in the West is going to give up all the secular good times they have to walk around in a circle about a stone well, to quote Carl Pryor, a proud gay man from Maida Vale, “Fuck off, mate.”

laura-linney 2013

In Hindsight
I want Ms Geller to understand this from a Jew who knows more about history than she has learned by picking out only the worst actions of the people she’s chosen as an enemy; history is cyclical. There is no jihad in Boston and as cynical as this might be to say I guarantee you that just as Americans were talking about other things by the summer of 2002 Americans will have something new and likely not terror related on their plate by the summer of 2013. Pamela Geller is in the business of Islamophobia but doesn’t, literally, have the balls to say what her most ardent and ignorant supporters really want and that is for the United States to conduct a global campaign of genocide against all Muslim peoples. That’s the quiet solution to the problem that no one wants to say in polite company because there are 2 billion Muslims globally and they aren’t going anywhere. They won’t all fit on Gitmo so they must be planning something permanent for their cousins just as the post Weimar government in Germany did to many of my distant relations in the last century. Any Jew that can stand for this kind of hatred needs to have his head examined. Never again also means you don’t want your brother’s tribe to be exterminated.

[Journ.]

fred_schwartz_6

This could possibly be the best delayed April Fool’s joke of all time.

Well, almost. Two North Carolina legislators are fed up with all the secularism in their state and have decided to introduce a bill that would allow North Carolina to declare an official state religion, by way of the Rowan County Defense of Religion Act of 2013. Now if they picked Judaism I would be shocked. The Atlantic Wire and Forbes both point out, as The Boss did this morning that Lemon v Kurtzman [403 US 602] (1971) quashed the constitutionality of any such action by any of the several states.

I know it’s unconstitutional and so do they but in these dark times for conservative thinking any half baked idea to rally the base is better than no idea at all for those on the Right. Here’s my problem with this that goes far beyond the simply nature of how it kicks in the teeth of civil liberties; which religion gets chosen and by whom? Now Carl Ford a Republican from the bustling diverse metropolis of China Grove, North Carolina and Harry Warren a Republican from Salisbury, North Carolina may not have thought this through. I would imagine that both of these men and the other 11 GOP representatives that support it would all stand up and shout “Christianity!” That’s fine since 79% [as of 2001] of the population of the state professes Christianity as their faith of choice. Okay, but which sect?

Let’s say they decide in the North Carolina legislature that their official religion is the Southern Baptist Convention. That may ruffle the feathers of the Methodists, the Mormons, the Episcopalians, the Lutherans, the Presbyterians, the Jews and the Catholics who taken together make up 41% to the Baptists 38%. A religious war could erupt along the lines of the English Civil War from Elizabeth City to Black Mountain over a perceived right that a conservative group of legislators wish they possessed.

If they dodge that time honored western European tradition of murdering each other over how you worship their still would be many hurdles that would have to be jumped in the name of not violating the new law. Public officials would now all have to come from that minority of Baptists. Every judge, every mayor, every sheriff that ran for office would have to come from this pool of citizens and no one else. To hold a public office one would have to swear faith in the state religion. Moreover, the people who sit behind those windows where you get a business license would also have to swear an oath or kiss the hem of a flag or something to keep their positions. So imagine me, a New York Jew living in retirement in North Carolina and I want to start a business. Would I be allowed to get a loan from a Baptist bank? Would I be able to get a driver’s license at the DMV? Maybe I would be easier identified if I wore a pretty yellow Magen David on my coat?

hindsight 2144
In Hindsight

This is the entire point. Angry old white dudes again slinging feces at the GOP brand. But of course this has nothing to do with the Republican party that Lincoln was the foundation of as a President. This has to do with the Dixiecrat wing of the Democratic Party that became Republican after Nixon’s Southern Strategy success in 1968. This is still really funny when you think about it. Conservatives lose their minds as if the Marines are on their way to take their guns at any mention of gun control because that’s a violation of the 2nd amendment while these hayseeds in North Carolina clearly have no respect for the 1st amendment at all.

CONSERVATIVE IGNORANCE THE GIFT THAT KEEPS ON GIVING: A RESPONSE TO MARK NOONAN

Posted in CONSERVATIVE FEAR, CONSERVATIVE HYPOCRISY, CONSERVATIVE IGNORANCE, MARK EDWARD NOONAN with tags , , , , on 28/03/2013 by sarahbloch

blochadvocate_4

And they wonder why they can’t win the White House?

Mark Noonan at Blogs4Victory has three points of why marriage equality is wrong:

1) “Is in direct violation of the commands of God as understood by the overwhelming bulk of people who follow Christian theology – that is, of course, less well understood by our weaker brothers and sisters who have not made an actual commitment to following Christ. This bears no direct relationship on what political settlement will be made save in the fact that those of us who are committed to Christ cannot do certain things vis a vis gay marriage without committing mortal sin – and our concern is that attempts will be made post-legalization to force us to do just that, and this in clear violation of the political laws of the United States, namely our First Amendment right to free exercise of religion, which does include our right to exclude people from our religious exercises – which by command of God go far beyond religious services on Sunday (we simply must engage in charity, etc.).”

The last time I checked, which was 10 minutes or so ago the United States of America wasn’t a theocracy. What people believe is moral and ethical is their right. What laws are made by man for the benefit of those least powerful in the face of government are called civil rights. Had the Johnson administration been made up of Mark Noonanites there would have never been a Fair Housing Act, A Voting Rights act or a Civil Rights Act. Noonan appears to infer that anything that insults his religion is a violation of his constitutional rights. Not true at all as the Constitution nowhere enumerates your right to not be offended.

2) “It is in direct violation of common sense about what marriage is for – the gateway to the creation of a family which may of nature produce children. That gay people may come in to a relationship with children or adopt them or go through such modern horrors as “surrogate motherhood” to obtain children does no change the fact that of nature no gay relationship can produce children.”

While I’ll admit that some laws are common sense, that whole right on red after stop is brilliant, I don’t see where there is any requirement for common sense to be applied in this marriage equality debate. Noonan should have known better than to go down the road that ends in, “the purpose of marriage is to have and raise children.” This isn’t the case for him in his own marriage because he has admitted many times that he has no children. The CDC estimated in 2012 that there were 6.7 million women between the ages of 15 and 44 who were infertile. If one can overlook Noonan’s own personal hypocrisy, what would he do with these people were they to find a man who wished to marry them? is their marriage invalid on common sense grounds? Noonan mentions surrogate motherhood and calls it a “modern horror.” How is that any more of a modern horror than saying a young woman who chooses to have her child and offer it for adoption rather than having an abortion? That’s because neither of them are horrors and it is the modern part that upsets Mark Noonan the most. For the record same sex couples are having children and I saw just this morning that NBC’s Setphanie Gosk and Jenna Wolfe are expecting their first child [congrats!]. How is it that their loving relationship can never be marriage because Mr Noonan wants to live in the pre-digital dark age of the 1600s?

3) “It proposes to equate homosexual acts with heterosexual acts – to pretend that they are morally the same thing, having the same purpose and results when clearly they are not the same thing and cannot have the same results. In this, we get the grave risk of trying to enforce – in law and custom – a falsehood (that gay and straight are the same), and whenever it is attempted to enforce a falsehood the entirety of society suffers (see those nations where falsehoods were enshrined in law and custom all through the 20th century).”

I generally am not sarcastic but when I saw this I thought, A straight man and a lesbian are in a gas station waiting in line to pay for gas. They both pay in cash and are both getting 93 octane fuel for their cars. These are acts by a heterosexual and a homosexual and they are the same. Need gas, go to a gas station doesn’t matter your orientation. Noonan makes it seem as if sex is the all encompassing thing on the minds of the American people. Now I realize from research that Mark Noonan suffered, and I use that word for a reason, with a long battle with addiction to pornography, but simply because he has won a battle by turning his addiction over to G-d, doesn’t mean he has to beat everyone else over the head in America with his own triumph. Marriage is a commitment and it is based on love. Sex is an expression, a purely physical one, of that love and commitment but it isn’t the be all and end all of a marriage.

Just this morning this was posted at Blogs4Victory

Oh this is classic forker: “Neocon you want an echo chamber not a dialogue that results in solutions. What you have is anger that your “way of life” has changed into something that takes away privilege you used to enjoy.”

Ah, I see projection and then complete hypocrisy with the forker echoing the same “you have is anger that your “way of life” has changed into something that takes away privilege you used to enjoy.” like the rest of the mindless forker drones regurgitate.

“You are angry at having been a part of a failed US military incursion into southeast Asia.”

Thanks to PROGRESSIVE politicians who had no interest in winning wars just winning at the ballot box.

“Once again you are welcome to come and present your ideas in our space without editing or censorship. Expect a rousing debate!”

Desperate for postings on your ghost town of a “blog”. The land of make believe, the echo chamber know as the pitchfork is so desperate for participation, you have reverted back to the porn site you once were. Rousing debate? Get serious. There is no reason for debate there, just members regurgitating the same racist anti-religious (except Islam) crap as before. You have 10 threads with one post and that post isn’t relative to the topic…. just mitchie’s mindless pap.

Pathetic and wishful thinking on your part.

What follows is Our response:

Tiredoflibbs,

We, Ourselves, of The Collective and The Meditators, disagree with your premise that Ms Bloch is projecting. To take this tack means you have no refutation for Ms Bloch’s opinion rendering your words meaningless. The entire reaction to the ACA and the creation of the TEA Party by well heeled conservatives, was propagated in the same manner that Nixon used the Southern Strategy to gain traction for a second term.

We, Ourselves, and Our colleagues neither condone nor participate in racism, Our mission is not anti-religious, it is anti-Theocracy and there is no fine difference between the two; religious practice is the Right of every Free Citizen while Theocracy is desired only by those who wish to see the march to an American Progressive Future bound in the shackles of clerical power to deny the rights of millions of that nation’s people. We, Ourselves, stand against those who have corrupted Islam just as We stand against those who have corrupted Christianity. In this effort Our actions speak volumes on their own.

We do not seek fame, We seek to spread the Truth that will carry Terra forward into a new age of Peace and Prosperity, nothing more.

YOUR DAILY DOSE OF CONSERVATIVE HYPOCRISY: CATHOLIC HEALTH INITIATIVES REFUSED TO PROVIDE CONTRACEPTION ON RELIGIOUS GROUNDS BUT ADMITS FETUSES ARE NOT PEOPLE TO WIN LAWSUIT AGAINST JEREMY STODGHILL

Posted in CONSERVATIVE HYPOCRISY, IN HINDSIGHT with tags , , , , , on 27/01/2013 by Fredrick Schwartz, D.S.V.J., O.Q.H. [Journ.]

fredschwartz1

I tell the longer I’m in hell the less and less shocked I am about things like this.

In the aftermath of the passage of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2009, aka ObamaCare, there was an uproar from Catholic medical facilities concerning providing contraceptive devices and medications to female employees under their health insurance plans. This was mandated by HHS in ObamaCare at the time without waiver. Shouts that this was a violation of their freedom to practice religion echoed from nearly every Diocese in America. One major Catholic medical employer, Catholic Health Initiatives made this statement on their web page in February 2012:

Following the Jan. 20 HHS announcement on religious employer exemptions from the rule on preventive health services for women, CHI expressed its concern about the lack of clarity on conscience protections.

On Feb. 10, the White House issued a revision to the rule. Under this latest policy, religious organizations will not have to provide contraceptive coverage or refer their employees to organizations that provide contraception. These organizations will also not be required to subsidize the cost of contraception. However, the rule states that contraceptive coverage will be offered to women by their employers’ insurance company directly, which would theoretically remove the role of the religious employer who is opposed to contraception. Insurance companies would be required to provide contraceptive coverage to women without charge.

CHI is analyzing the new rule to gain an understanding of what the impact will be on self-insured organizations such as CHI. Until CHI has a clear understanding of the impact on self-insured organizations, it would be premature to issue a position on the new rule. CHI is hopeful that self-insured organizations such as CHI will be exempted from violating their beliefs while being in compliance with the law.

Okay as a position of their religious beliefs they do not wish to have contraception as a part of their health care plans. I get it. But, wait, there’s more:

Matthew Grimshaw, president and CEO of Mercy Medical Center, a Catholic hospital in Williston, said he was unable to comment about possible local ramifications, but said that he affirms a statement issued by Catholic Health Association President Sister Carol Keehan, which said, “The impact of being told we do not fit the new definition of a religious employer and therefore cannot operate our ministries following our consciences has jolted us.”
The new mandate is a result of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, which Keehan supported in defiance of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops in the spring of 2010.
Mercy Medical Center employs about 450 people and serves about 60,000 in North Dakota and Montana. It is owned by Catholic Health Initiatives, a Catholic, non-profit health organization which owns 76 hospitals in 19 states.
“I’m sure (the administration’s officials) are fully prepared, as would the Catholic Church be, to take this to court. We will take it to the Supreme Court if we have to. I can’t imagine a president who is supposed to be a constitutional lawyer, and actually taught constitutional law in a university, considering something like this. It’s mind-boggling,”
Kagan said.

And the outrage of having their beliefs violated continues:

Leaders at Memorial Health Care System, the largest local institution affected by the ruling, said they are working to gain clarity on the ruling. The hospital, which has about 4,500 employees, is part of Catholic Health Initiatives.

In a statement, Memorial President and Chief Executive James H. Hobson said he hopes a resolution will protect Catholic hospitals and health organizations from violating their beliefs while being in compliance with the law.

“The challenge that these regulations pose for many groups remains unresolved,” Hobson said. “This indicates the need for an effective national conversation on the appropriate conscience protections in our pluralistic country, which has always respected the role of religions.”

Need more? I’ve got plenty more:

“We have always supported the clear and consistent teachings of the Catholic Church regarding the inherent dignity of all human life,” said Briar Cliff President Beverly A. Wharton. “We also hold with highest regard the God-given right to religious liberty acknowledged in the U.S. Constitution.”
The Obama administration, in making its decision, relied on the recommendations of the Institute of Medicine, which concluded that birth control is medically necessary. But the Roman Catholic Church considers it morally wrong to prevent conception by any artificial means, including birth control pills, condoms, IUDs and sterilization.
That means Catholic-affiliated hospitals also might be drawn into the debate. A spokesman for Tenet Healthcare, which owns about 75 percent of Creighton University Medical Center, declined to comment. Alegent Health officials could not be reached for comment Wednesday. Alegent is a faith-based system partially sponsored by Catholic Health Initiatives.
Archbishop George Lucas of Omaha has joined the battle. While church leaders here are letting the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops lead the national fight, Lucas sent a letter to pastors that was read aloud Sunday during Mass at 147 parishes. The letter asks Catholics in the Omaha Archdiocese to pray about the issue and to contact their congressional representatives to pass legislation overturning the rule.
“In generations past, the church has always been able to count on the faithful to stand up and protect her sacred rights and duties,” Lucas wrote. “I hope and trust she can count on this generation of Catholics to do the same.”

Lincoln Bishop Fabian Bruskewitz also issued a letter calling on Roman Catholics to fight the federal decision.

Okay, I have to be boring you with beating the same dead horse over and over again. It’s clear that on matters of conscience Catholics don’t believe contraception, in any form, should be provided by the health care entity supporting Catholic medical facility workers. QED.

For the sake of clarity I need to review the position of the Roman Catholic Church in regard to when life is considered to begin:

The teaching that life in the womb is sacred has been consistently taught by the Church from the beginning and is reflected in the opposition of the Church for twenty centuries to abortion; please consult the oldest catechism instruction of the Church, outside the Sacred Scriptures, called the Didache or The Teaching of the Twelve Apostles from the First Century A.D.; it reads as follows: ‘‘Do not kill a fetus by abortion, or commit infanticide’’ (Didache, 2:2); also, noted patristic scholars are in agreement that St. Augustine probably knew the Didache and may have used it as a source in writing his own First Catechetical Instruction.

I think we have all been fully instructed in the ideology that catholics, on their Faith, believe that a fetus is for all intents and purposes a person. Then now I have this conundrum crawling up my neck at the curious case of Jeremy Stodghill and his deceased wife Lori Stodghill and their two unborn sons. Be forewarned, this is a shocker:

Life begins at conception, according to the Catholic Church, but in a wrongful death suit in Colorado, a Catholic health care company has argued just the opposite.

A fetus is not legally a person until it is born, the hospital’s lawyers have claimed in its defense. And now it may be up to the state’s Supreme Court to decide.

Lori Stodghill was 28 weeks pregnant when she went to the emergency room of St. Thomas More Hospital in Canon City vomiting and short of breath, according to a court document. She went into cardiac arrest in the lobby.

“Lori looked up at me, and then her head went down on her chest,” said her husband, Jeremy Stodghill.
She died at age 31. Her unborn twin boys perished with her. That was New Year’s Day 2006.
Stodghill, left behind to raise their then-2-year-old daughter alone, sued the hospital and its owner, Catholic Health Initiatives, for the wrongful deaths of all three.
After about two years of litigation, defense attorneys for the hospital and doctors entered an argument that shocked the widower.

They said that under state law, an embryo is not person until it is born alive, according to court documents. The Stodghills’ twins were deceased when they were removed from their mother’s lifeless body.
“I didn’t even get to hold them,” Jeremy Stodghill said. “I have an autopsy picture. That’s all I’ve got.”
The court agreed with the argument, and Stodghill lost the suit. The court also ruled against Stodghill in the case of his wife for other legal reasons.
The hospital and doctors then sued him for over $118,000 legal fees and attempted to garnish his wages, according to a legal document filed on his behalf.
The defendants offered to forget the fees if Stodghill dropped his appeal. He refused and filed for bankruptcy to avoid having to pay the claim, which he says he can’t afford as he struggles to raise his now-9-year-old daughter, Libby.

Stodghill has petitioned the Colorado Supreme Court to hear his case, and he’d like to hear from the Catholic Church.
Representatives of the Catholic bishops of Colorado declined to comment on the legal proceedings, but said they will review the litigation and Catholic Health Initiatives’ practices “to ensure fidelity and faithful witness to the teachings of the Catholic Church.”
Catholic Health Initiatives would not speak to CNN on camera, but said in a statement, “In this case… as Catholic organizations, (we) are in union with the moral teachings of the Church.”

hindsight 2128
In Hindsight

I don’t know about you but the last bold sentence in the Stodghill piece from CNN makes it all too clear to me that the Catholic Church at least in this case, put money far ahead of its beliefs. But maybe I’m wrong and it just isn’t in this case? The great Catholic social control con for profit is slowly but surely coming to a torturous end right here at the start of the 21st Century just as it was predicted many thousands of years ago. Not to sound too clearly gleeful but I told you so.

I wonder if Mark Edward Noonan has an answer for this that is suitably well grounded in reason and yet allows him to remain a Catholic both in his heart and in his political ideology? My bet is that he doesn;t because to even attempt to explain this would shatter his world view like a neutron bomb would obliterate a gnat. And this boys and girls brings you favorite Jewish blogger to his point. Conservatives cannot argue with facts to support their beliefs because their beliefs are far and away more situational than any Progressive’s. Pro-Life yet pro death penalty? Follow the Prince of Peace but lust for war and make near deities out of soldiers. Would blow up abortion clinics but think all Muslims are terrorists because of 9/11. Swear they aren’t bigots but consider the first person of color elected President to not have been “natural born.” I challenge Mr Noonan to get within a thousand miles of this bit of hypocrisy but of course he won’t out of the sheer terror that his worldview is wrong.

A CRITICAL RESPONSE TO MARK EDWARD NOONAN OF BLOGS FOR VICTORY AND HIS SUPPORT FOR RELIGION OVER AMERICA

Posted in 2012 US ELECTION, BLOGS 4 VICTORY, MARK EDWARD NOONAN with tags , , , , , on 03/11/2012 by Majordomo Pain

Mark Edward Noonan, noted convert to Distributism writes in support of Bishop Daniel Jenky of the Diocese of Peoria, Illinois and a letter he sent to be read at mass to all his parishes. The introduction to the letter is curiously left out of a quote of the body by Mark Edward Noonan:

By virtue of your vow of obedience to me as your Bishop, I require that this letter be personally read by each celebrating priest at each Weekend Mass, November 3/4.

There are those who feel this is an order to vote on the upcoming Election Day, however, We, Ourselves of the Collective see it as a threat upon the Souls of those faithful to vote for Mitt Romney under the pain of being a supporter of “grave sin”:

Neither the president of the United States nor the current majority of the Federal Senate have been willing to even consider the Catholic community’s grave objections to those HHS mandates that would require all Catholic institutions, exempting only our church buildings, to fund abortion, sterilization, and artificial contraception. This assault upon our religious freedom is simply without precedent in the American political and legal system. Contrary to the guarantees embedded in the First Amendment, the HHS mandates attempt to now narrowly define and thereby drastically limit our traditional religious works. They grossly and intentionally intrude upon the deeply held moral convictions that have always guided our Catholic schools, hospitals, and other apostolic ministries.

In Mark Noonan’s own words:

Christ is my King. The nation and my family are of exceptional importance, but we all owe God primary loyalty.

At all events, the Bishop is only pointing out a basic truth here in 2012: No Catholic – no Christian – can in good conscience vote for anyone who is not firmly on the side of life. This means that anyone who says they are a Christian must pray and ponder over this fact: Barack Obama and his Democrats are committed to the Culture of Death and thus are unworthy of Christian votes.

Noonan makes a clear definition of his loyalty. He has taken an oath to his religion over that of his nation state therefore in all matters his touchstone is his faith not the laws of the United States of America; this is his right as a free citizen of the United States. What Mr Noonan and those who think and believe like him cannot be allowed to do is enact laws that would place his religion above the freedom and liberty of those who do not. Such an enaction would be akin to the rise of Sharia Law which Noonan and other radical Conservatives fear is on the march to make white Conservative Americans once and finally slaves to darker skinned and blood thirsty masters. We, Ourselves ask how is this belief by Noonan and other Conservative catholic apologists different from those deemed religious fanatics of other religions?

We harbour no racial or religious bigotry; these attributes are not a part of Our makeup. They are quite impossible for Us as they have no rational or actual basis in fact. Neocon regularly shows through his words his bigotry toward black Americans, gays and lesbians and anyone who isn’t white Catholic and Conservative yet you as a hypocrite allow these things to stand and only occasionally when your blog would be branded a hate site do you slap him upon the wrist. This action is a heavy stone upon your Soul.

People make decisions as groups for the interest of that group whether it be a nation state, a religion or a political party. We, Ourselves, of The Collective and the Meditators know that there are bad actors that are accepted members of groups that from time to time have their evil exposed to the sunlight of Truth. Richard Nixon allowed his desire to be loved by the people to turn into blind ambition that nearly destroyed the US presidency. Bill Clinton’s desire to possess women nearly brought him down as well. The Catholic Church, to maintain control over its flock sacrificed the innocence of thousands upon thousands of boys and girls in the name of power and control. The difference here is your religion despite its corruption is innocent in your eyes because you have been deluded into the belief that this is the only means by which you may become Divine after Death. Yet when an apostate Muslim goes against the teaching of the Qu’ran you hold the opinion that all Muslims believe and act this way. One must consider that the way of life in the slums of Damascus are different from that in the suburbs of Las Vegas. An honest man would ask why that is so vice being so thin skinned as to become foolish enough to think that a church run by men cannot be corrupted by the desire to have sex with children. Where in the Bible is the rationalization that such heinous things are commanded from G-d?

THE MEDITATORS SPEAK: WHY TOM HANKS IS FORGIVEN AND PAMELA GELLER IS NOT

Posted in 2012 US ELECTION, ARAB-AMERICAN INSTITUTE, BIGOTRY, CONSERVATIVE FEAR, CONSERVATIVE HYPOCRISY, CONSERVATIVE IGNORANCE, CONSERVATIVE NEWS, COUNTER-SHAI'TANISM, COUNTER-THEOCRACY, HOW HELL WORKS, HUMA ABEDIN, HUMAN BEINGS, MITT ROMNEY, PAMELA GELLER, POLITICS, PRESIDENT OBAMA, RELIGIOUS RIGHT, THE CANCER OF HATE, THE MEDITATORS, WORLD NET DAILY with tags , , , , , , , , on 20/10/2012 by Majordomo Pain

A mystery in two acts; one is a heinous crime the other is not.

Yesterday on the ABC program Good Morning America two time Oscar™ winning actor Tom Hanks said a mal mot during an interview with Elizabeth Vargas. The word that he said was fuck, a commonly used word despite it being considered vulgar in certain circles and indeed on the public airwaves. To this, We, Ourselves, of The Collective say, “So what?” For all his tiresless professionalism, philanthropy and down right kindheartedness to fellow Human Beings, The Meditators see no need to hold Tom Hanks up as some sort of swearing criminal. It can be summed up as a moment of counter-intuitive exuberance on the part of the actor.

Conversely, The Meditators are concerned with a conundrum facing Pamela Geller of the American Freedom Defense Initiative [AFDI] and Stop the Islamization of America [SIOA] and her positions regarding a Muslim Brotherhood “infiltration” into the administration of President Barack Obama. This delusion even gained purchase in the mind of Congresswoman Michele Bachmann who called for a full blown investigation into an aide of Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, Huma Abedin. Pamela Geller, writing at her blog Atlas Shrugged 2000:

McCain is cavalier, lax and sloppy with the facts about the greatest threat facing our nation. Bachmann should be lauded and applauded. And Congress should be pressing for the prosecution of Muslim Brotherhood groups named as such in the captured internal document released during the Holy Land Foundation trial.

Ms Geller was interviewed in February 2011 by FrontPage with Jamie Glazov magazine where she said the following about connections between the Muslim Brotherhood and the Oabama administration:

FP: And people with ties to these organizations are involved with the Obama Administration, right?

Geller: Yes they are, Jamie, in various ways. On the first day of his presidency, the President showed an eagerness to be friendly toward the Brotherhood: he chose Ingrid Mattson, president of ISNA to offer a prayer at the National Cathedral during inaugural festivities on January 20, 2009.

Superficially, Obama’s choice was understandable: Ingrid Mattson was a Canadian convert to Islam who carefully cultivated the image of a moderate spokesperson. But ISNA has even admitted ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas, which calls itself “one of the wings of Muslim Brotherhood in Palestine.”

Mattson has also tried to set Jews and Christians against one another. Speaking at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government in March 2007, Mattson said: “Right-wing Christians are very risky allies for American Jews, because they [the Christians] are really anti-Semitic. They do not like Jews.”

But Obama didn’t seem to care about any of that. And so she prayed for Barack Hussein Obama on January 20, 2009. And it gets worse: after that, Valerie Jarrett, Obama’s Senior Advisor for Public Engagement and International Affairs and a longtime, close Obama aide, asked Mattson to join the White House Council on Women and Girls, which is dedicated to “advancing women’s leadership in all communities and sectors – up to the U.S. presidency – by filling the leadership pipeline with a richly diverse, critical mass of women.”

A hijab-wearing leader of a group with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and other terrorists and Islamic supremacists – that’s diverse, all right!

In a May 2012 article posted at WorldNet Daily Pamela Geller said the following about the Arab-American Institute:

Our AFDI/SIOA Jessica Mokdad Human Rights conference on April 29 in Dearborn, Mich., was the first conference of its kind, dedicated to increasing awareness of honor killings and gendercide under the Shariah. But in the aftermath of the highly successful conference, Arab-American and Muslim groups continue to attack us instead of focusing on the real problem: the victimization of girls in the Muslim community.

There are videos going around by Islamic supremacists such as the pro-honor killing “journalist” Omar Baddar, new media coordinator at the Arab American Institute (AAI), claiming that they were refused entry to the Jessica Mokdad Human Rights Conference because they were Arabs and Muslims. This is a fabrication out of whole cloth. In reality, every attendee had to register, and we were overbooked. The furor over these people who were supposedly denied entry, who actually had not registered at all, is a manufactured nontroversy designed to deflect attention away from the grim reality of Islamic honor killing.

Indian Governor Mitch Daniels was honored by the Arab-American Institute and drew considerable ire from Pamela Geller and commneters on her site in this post at Atlas Shrugged 2000

Mitch Daniels has become the new it boy of the GOP and the race for the Republican presidential nominee in 2012. I, OTOH, am not impressed by this johnny come lately, but have kept my reservations quiet until now.

Once you are “honored” and “awarded” by Islamic supremacists, that should be the kibosh on any candidate. Tim Pawlenty, as Governor of Minnesota, had his Housing Finance Agency set up a Shariah-compliant lending fund. His fumble of Franken’s wholesale theft of the election Senate race was bad enough; sharia finance is the death knell for a limpwristed RINO.

Back to Mitch Daniels. The American Arab Institute, co-founded by James Zogby, is presenting their annual award to Mitch Daniels.

Comments from conservatives to this post were clear–to be associated with such a group means a candidate is no longer worthy of conservative consideration for a GOP nomination in 2012:

Posted by: lilredbird | Monday, May 02, 2011 at 08:58 PM

Buuuuh-byyyeee Mitch Daniels.

THANK YOU ATLAS, for revealing this hidden side, and undoubtedly demolishing his admittedly slim chances.

Posted by: GooseNetworkUSA | Tuesday, May 03, 2011 at 06:56 AM

No RINO dhimmies! Above all else, it is the one big fat deal breaker for me. My number 1 issue for a potential GOP candidate for 2012is their stand on islam. I am not alone in this. I will do everything in my power to undermine campaigns of RINO dhimmies. We need Allen West, dear God how I wish we could get him to run!

Posted by: Zilla | Tuesday, May 03, 2011 at 10:33 AM

I never could stand Mitch Daniels, and now I really hate him. Thanks for the great expose, Pamela! I watched Daniels’ speech at CPAC, and he just gave me the creeps. I could not understand at all those who were pushing the idea of Daniels for Pres. There is NO WAY I would ever support such a Jihad-loving, Jew-hating scum!

Allen West for President!

Here’s what you do with the Arabs and Muslims in this country – internment camps. They worked in WWII and they should work just fine now. Daniels and his family should be locked up until the war on terror has been won – which unfortunately for him might be beyond his lifetime.

So this clearly show an important factor; that Governor Daniels, because of his association with AAI, is not in the eyes of Geller and conservative commenters, fit to serve as POTUS. It appears, according to this article at Right Wing Watch that these persons are confronted with a bit of a conundrum or are speeding toward hypocrisy fueled by cognitive dissonance. Five days ago, the Arab American Institute announced :

On Friday, October 12, 2012, the Romney campaign announced “Arab Americans for Romney,” a national coalition of Arab American supporters of Gov. Mitt Romney’s bid for the presidency of the United States.

In a statement released by the campaign, Governor Romney stated:

“I am very proud to have so many distinguished Arab-Americans on my team,” said Mitt Romney. “This country has been a beacon to people around the globe. The American Dream belongs to the world, but lately, it has been harder to pursue that dream. I am committed to bringing prosperity to the United States and creating the good jobs that foster opportunity and will inspire another generation of dreamers. Together, we will restore America to the land of possibility it has always been.”

“Like the rest of the country, many Arab Americans are concerned with the direction the country is heading,” said Arab American Institute Chairman, Hon. George R. Salem who serves as National Co-Chair of “Arab Americans for Romney” and is also a member of Gov. Romney’s Labor Committee. “Our polling shows that the overwhelming majority of Arab Americans, 82 percent, consider jobs and the economy the most important issue facing the country. Mitt Romney understands that Arab Americans, who are business owners, doctors, lawyers and public servants, have a lot at stake this election and are an extremely important constituency in the race for the White House.”

The full text from the Romney/Ryan campaign issued on 12 October 2012 can be read here. At this hour Ms Geller has not issued a statement declaring Mr Romney unfit to hold the office of POTUS because of his association with AAI which is a classic case of criminal hypocrisy. We, Ourselves, of The Collective ask Ms Geller, why are you silent on these matters now. How can you continue your support in the light of your past statements and support for Mitt Romney, or even better how can any thinking Human Being now take you seriously in any of your writings?
